RECENT ADVANCES IN SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS FOR HAZARDOUS AIR POLLUTANTS 13 - 15 April, 2010 - Melbourne
The objective of this three day training course is to provide guidance and training on the most up-to-date methods for the sampling and analysis of HAPs. The course includes monitoring programs for volatile organics (canisters, multi-bed adsorbents, cryogenic trapping, and on-line GC monitoring), semi-volatiles (PUF/XAD-2), particulate matter and passive sampling techniques. HAZARDOUS AIR POLLUTANTS 16 April, 2010 - Sydney
This workshop will discuss trace-level SO2, NOx, CO and O3 monitoring, time-integrated and real-time monitoring for specific ions, sampling and analysis for organic/inorganic carbon to identify influence of automobiles to urban pollution, semi-volatiles, pesticides, herbicides, PCBs and VOCs using SUMMA canisters and passive badges. It will also include discussion on time-integrated and real-time monitoring for multi-metals for industrial source identification. For further details, click here.
HAZARDOUS AIR POLLUTANTS 19 April, 2010 - Auckland
This workshop will mainly focus on measurement methods and setting up monitoring programs for hazardous air pollutants that are relevant for NZ air quality practitioners. It will include pollutants such as metals (including arsenic), ions, volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds (including benzene, benzo(a)pyrene, aldehydes etc.), pesticides, herbicides, PCBs and dioxin/furans. There will be some discussion on methods that could be used to identify woodsmoke in urban atmospheres (including real time methods for specifications). For further details, click here.
